About Coastal Paws

Our Story

Coastal Paws was born out of a simple belief: that every pet deserves to be treated like family. We're a family business based in Broadstone, and between us we've spent years caring for dogs, cats and small animals — not as a job, but as a way of life.

Dogs have always been at the heart of our home. Growing up, we shared our lives with a gentle giant St Bernard — and that early experience of caring for a big, loving dog shaped everything about how we approach animal care today. Now we share our home with Nala, our English Springer Spaniel, who at just 7 months old already keeps us on our toes and reminds us every single day why we do what we do.

We're big believers in keeping dogs mentally as well as physically active. Training isn't just about good behaviour — it's one of the best ways to build a dog's confidence, strengthen your bond and tire them out in the best possible way. We bring that same approach to every dog in our care, helping them learn how to behave and giving their brains a proper workout alongside their legs.

We know how much it matters to find someone you can truly trust with your pet. That's why we've invested in the qualifications, training and insurance to back up what we do — so you can go to work, run your errands or take a well-earned break, knowing your animals are in safe, caring hands.

We're based locally and we keep our groups small on purpose. We'd rather do fewer things brilliantly than spread ourselves too thin. Every dog we walk, every puppy we visit and every cat we check on gets our full attention — not a rushed five minutes.
